SUNDAY
may 8, 2005 --my 18th birthday! whooo legal na to do anything! or just about! ....i don't really feel any different...egh! it's pretty cool though, the fact that i turned 18 while being clapped for on stage after a performance (108 had a gig last night, or 12am, at Veezio bar along roxas blvd.). speaking of last night, we entered the bar, and heard the first few bands and got intimidated; they were hardcore rock. as in ROCK. yung one or 2 bands death metal nga eh tae haha katakot. pero ayos lang the audience received us just as well as the others. after the performance we went to figaro along baywalk and had coffee...took a cab home...yun. got home mga 3am, but slept at around 4am. i couldnt get the 8hours of sleep i was hoping for coz the happy bday texts kept coming. so i gave up on trying to go back to sleep, and got up at 9am. but thanks to all those who remembered and greeted me!!
what else happened within the last...well since april 15? um...ah my band 108 made an acoustic demo cd to send in to ayala malls in the hopes of getting a gig there. so yun, we got a gig: may 27, 5-7pm, dont know where for sure yet. recording and jamming's been great, i'm loving our original compositions; theyre sounding pretty good! some people have heard these already...and for those who wanna hear it for themselves, luis medz is gon be uploading some soon to the official site ( http://www.geocities.com/adeks_108) so watch out for that...or you could just IM me for a copy or something. these are unedited though, as we were under great time pressure. we're gonna go for a good, edited recording as soon as we're able. *urgh*
i went to bora again. only this time, yun nga, i only had to pay for my pocket money and food coz it was a birthday blowout of my friend. bora was alright, less people though than the last time i was there. only 1 event happening too (freestlye), but i didnt bother seeing that one.
i enrolled na in dlsu! yeah. medyo hassle nga lang yung day na yun, woke up really early coz i had lots to do in dlsu; medical, ID AND enrollment all in the same day hassle. pero at least it's over with. i know my sched na for the first term. hassle mondays ko--4:30-6:30pm PE??! haha
the past few weeks have been really stressful, especially this week, wherein i had to worry bout enrollment, practicing for the gig my band had last night, and planning for the big bday party which i held together with sandro, tonicci and pinggoy. held it on park trade center rooftop; it was open to zobel's batch 05. turned out really nice: the sound system was excellent, food and drinks good, no throwing of bottles and shit hehe. it was good to see the entire batch all in one place again; it'll be the last time for a lot of people, especially those leaving the country. too bad din na not everyone could make it; a lot were out of the country, were tired, had no transpo. thanks for all the gifts! i wasnt expecting that much, if any at all. thanks din to the other 3 celebrants, without you this party wouldnt have been made possible. and lastly thanks to those who came to the party!
so i woke up nga this morning 9am, feeling all relaxed and stuff, knowing that all the stressful stuff is over with. now i got some free time to do whatever i want. now i got time...to blog some more? ............................nah
hi to: the entire batch'05! janeca! 108!! mga kaibigan ko sa village!parents--thanks for helping out in the party! the other 3 bday celebrants: sandro, tonicci, pinggoy. hi also to those that gave me gifts! and remembered that it's my birthday today! salamat!

it's ONLY been 20 days!...what could've happened??
FRIDAY
i woke up at 12pm today coz i came home at 4am last night from a get-together with friends i don't usually hang-out with. ayus lang, foodtrip din. and we watched the ring2, which by the way isn't worth it. anyway, as the title mentions, the last time i blogged was indeed 20days ago, where im babbling about my good friday. ehh fine no more excuses i'll update you on the highlights of these past 20days of summer.
i guess the biggest highlight here would be the first [since my last blog]: i went to bora. damn that was fun! the food, the sounds, the sand, the sun, the boats, the parties, the expensive things (everything), the drinks, the tension (?) haha never really dull in bora, every night there'd be a party or concert of some sort, be it aiza seguerra "jamming" at bom bom's [EGH] to andy norman (of hed kandi) spinning (at a concert held by smart) in front of hey jude's. i really enjoyed the hed kandi concert; the sounds were fuckn awesome! and to think that kickass chillout music was mixed on the spot...lotsa artists celebrties and models went to bora during the time we were there (mar31-apr5), including rico blanco and mark escueta--most of the models were from smart, as about 90% of the beach, in my opinion, was dominated by smart. i noticed lang na there's quite a number of gays doods at bora, which i don't really have anything against. what i didnt like was the fact that these fags were really gutsy--they'd tap our shoulders, say hello, make hirit 'cute' from afar..eghhh!! some of the guys in our group, most especially claudio and mark, were really aiming to meet chicks, coz they saw a lot. they never got to meet any. mark did and, brashly enough in my opinion, tried to get her number na rin on the spot. apparently, the result wasn't a pretty sight. sarey man!! better luck next time. balik nalang bora! hehe
what else...i took cocomangas' 15shots! actually 7 out of 9 of us took it--it's too bad kenzo and danilo didnt wanna. it was cool to see how high people's tolerances were: mark mathay's being the absolute worst--the others, especially danilo and kenzo would agree to that. haha. next would probably be jelo and sandro--when we were walking both of them home (on separate occasions) after their respective 15shots, they'd both always trip and roll around in the sand. haha. BOTH were talkative as hell while wasted. jelo even small-talking 'the guy' next door to our cottage. haha. sandro naman, when he got back to the cottage, he slumped over the balcony and puked for bout an hour or sumn. haha. maybe half an hour. masa was kinda similar to sandro in the sense that when he got back to the room he'd be going back and forth to a trash can. the difference was he was quiet and falling asleep--he sure as hell wasn't rolling around in the sand screaming "I'M GOING BLIIIIIIND!"...diba sandro? haha peace. the others that took the 15 shots (mark mathay, claudio, nicco) were totally knocked out by the time they got to the room, at around 2:30-3am. surprisingly, i was actually sober after my shots, so i stayed up with kenzo and danilo 'til 4:30am helping everyone puke and sleep. everyone woke up the following morning with varying hangovers.
the food there was EXCELLENT, albeit expensive talaga. whenever some of us would be feeling a little rich (or up for some of the more luxurious food available on the island), we'd go to an all-you-can-eat mongolian restaurant, or a kickass breakfast at jonah's [where the BEST SHAKES IN THE WORLD are produced], or a really expensive but good lunch at TRUE FOOD indian cuisine. mmmmmmm....lamb biryani........ on days wherein we felt kuripot, we'd eat at andok's. dokito frito!! really good deepfried (about 1/7 of) chicken priced at P30 a piece. ayos!!
we went snorkelling on 2 separate occasions, both of which wre fun in their own ways, though i preferred the first session. for one thing the rented boat was bigger and a lot stronger. but the 2nd was alright, coz we got to visit some deserted amusement park called crystal cove, wherein we couldnt swim in the underwater caves coz the waves were deadly at the time. but it was ok, we got to...crawl in some cave tunnel instead. haha amp amp...LOVELYN2!!
on tuesday morning we left bora island, and took a van to the dumaguit port to meet super ferry's departure time of 4:45pm. we got to the port at 3pm to see no boat. what happened was super ferry changed it's departure time (from 4:45pm to (9:45am of the same day) without informing us. we go back to kalibo, aklan and complain at the super ferry agency. they gave us free accomodations and a budget until the next boat would arrive. we stayed in kalibo for 2 nights. it was alright there: nearby mall with restaurants, cinema, ps2/arcade and supermarket. best of all, a julie's bakeshop was right around the corner! we filled up a lot on the good but cheap bread there. we got back to manila friday morning, april8. everyone was exhausted so they went home to sleep. syempre nag town pa ako with jello to hang with janeca haha
bora was an excellent experience i know i'm never gonna forget; you all should try going there, at least once. i know i wouldn't mind going back...which i am!! haha end of april i'm going back to bora, this time with a different set of friends, AND, my trip and hotel fee will be payed for na!! yehh
the weekend was alright, nothing great happened. still recovering and telling everyone about the bora trip. although friends back here in manila didn't seem to need the kwento from us, as they somehow already knew everything that happened. that's weird...wonder how they knew...
the next week, starting monday april 11, jello sandro and i started boxing lessons. damn it's fun...and tiring! i dare to say that the it's even more intense than the swimming training i received..or maybe im just saying that coz baguhin palang ako. but it's fun. your body hurts bad though after a session. hehe diba sandro? peace peace on monday AND wednesday jello and i went to dino's house.....................
......................................................................................................... and played tekken5. hehehehehehehe
yesterday i went to see a doctor about this toe of mine which my mom suspects has an in-grown. we were directed to a surgeon already, but the surgeon checked it out and told me it wasn't an ingrown, although it might develop. what i have is an internal wound in my big toe. wonder how the hell i ever got that. haha. nevertheless, because of this, i couldn't go boxing today. sarey jelo n sandro!
and today, during the day....i'm thinking of relaxing at home with nothing to do for once...but i'll probably go to town with some people to watch a movie.
o yan, 20 days worth of blog! magsawa kayo, mga adik magbasa ng blog! haha
by the way, for those who want a more detailed blog about the bora trip, read jello's, nicco's or sandro's.
hi to: janeca, sandro jello and the rest of the bora boys, friends in the village, adeks...yehh!!

having my 'good friday' as it should be
GOOD FRIDAY '05
just woke up from a 2+ hour nap...weird coz, 1st of all, i don't usually take naps--this time i just fell asleep in front of the tv. and 2nd of all, i got naman more than 8hours of rest last night. ehh whatever.
nung wednesday night...
it was amanda's surprise birthday party!! man that was great. i mean she was surprised as hell! i was, due to some problems here at home, late again, and when i walked through the front door, everything was setup as if i was the one being surprised. i think they thought that i was amanda or something (it was dark), and so when i got to where everyone could see me, they were all like: "haaay!", "sus!", "jc akyat, bilis!!" haha kakahiya...sarey!! but when manda walked in soon after, the surprise worked out perfectly, as planned. her barkada did an excellent job of planning out the party: they decorated the walls with beach stuff (manda loves the beach)...they even had a program planned out including a powerpoint presentation of everything (familiar) bout manda, they had this 18gifts thing (of which i was a part of), they made collages and cards...even printed out small papers (18 things i love bout manda) for the guests to fill out. great job! i'm sure manda and her family loved it. =]
thursday...
not much happenned yesterday...but during the afternoon, passed for ortuoste and taber, brought us to dino's house to play some tekken5. saya! mostly i was there to try my prowess against dino's elder brother, dan. people, including dino, always tell me bout how good he is in tekken, even studying technical shit like frames and stuff...adooooooook! so anyway, we ended up playing gainst each other, and shit he really was good!! damn!! haha adoooooooooook! out of every 5 matches, siguro panalo ako 2 or 3. pero ang saya! we'd all end up screaming when the matches would get close; when the lifebars would get real low. suspense! hehe.
today, 'good friday'...
woke up early to do stations of the cross the way i like to do it: right in my village! hehe this year my mom was the one who set it up: she set up different stations of the cross in different houses in the village, mostly in the new houses/with the new families, so everyone would meet each other. that was pretty cool...14th station at the village clubhouse, wherein there were some refreshments. villagers stayed a bit to say hello n meet new people; i was introduced to a number of new people as well, including anjuli's tita. of course i was asked "what college are you going to and what course" several times. haha...got home, played sims2 to pass the time...ate our only full meal for the day, LUNCH...then fell asleep..haha labo. right when i woke up by the way i caught something on tv...like the pinoy version of 'the passion of the christ'. same content, but in tagalog. tear jerker pa rin haha. yep, good friday, good friday...
hi to: janeca, bea, steph, anjuli, manda and everyone at that party, taber, nicco, dino and kuya dan, 108...batch05 na rin. hehe

graduation...grad ball--unforgetable
MONDAY
i graduated from highschool as batch05...this was on march 19, 2005...saturday. that was cool. getting a (gold!) subject medal...seeing all my friends up on stage...singing the alma mater one last time as a batch...walking out of the cpa to meet parents and friends and having (way too much) pictures with everyone...yeah, graduation was great. (mga sigawan sa classroom--walang pakialam!! --woohoooooooooo!!!! hehehehe) i was proud to show my diploma and medal to both my gramps--and they were proud to see it. *toot*
yesterday, sunday...
in the morning i went to mass which was longer coz it was palm sunday. late morning i joined my bro n dad for 9holes of golf...it was so frikkn hot! by the time i got home i had a really bad headache...so i took a pill and tried to sleep it off..i woke up again at about 5:10pm and the headache had just gotten worse, as it was joined by a slight fever. but i knew i had to go to the gradball, sick or not, coz id be performing along with my band 108. i got there at about 6:45pm...everyone in costume...some really funny ones! apang astig! then it was time for my band to perform...the bands (108 and MV) were only supposed to perform 2 songs each...but l.a. n greg werent there...ryan and gelo joined in anyway. and we played last train home, quoting tragedy, pagaalangan, elesi...and a really really long yesyes show...this was because we were asked to kill time and provide more entertainment as there was picture taking. and our band did great that night, i think! galing! we didnt practice and everything, especially 108s original pagaalangan, turned out to be great! i got some really good comments from people that heard. thanks to those who support the senior bands!!!!!!!!!!
after the grad ball everyone moved to the afterparty in greenhills. that was pretty cool too. for me, it was excellent. in fact, i'm never gonna forget that night. i got home at around 4:30am.
today, monday, i went to dlsz with nicco to do some clearance work...gonna finish that tomorrow. afterwards met up with sandro...crashed for a while at masas house... then went to town to watch the pacifier. pretty funny naman, but it still had its predictable and cheesy family movie moments. afterwards played a little tekken5, crashed in starbucks, took nicco home. ayun.
hi to: janeca...=] , 108!! + ryan + jello, masa, sandro, nicco, anj, gaille, hechi, anjo, tan, jed, argh dami niyo! basta buong batch05! congrats! we all made it!

no more highschool work forever
SUNDAY
ey guys sorry i havent been updating...been busy lang talaga eh. plus im lazy.
umm...few things missed here. last week of exams....of HIGHSCHOOL exams...wow what a feeling....the last higschool finals we'd ever have...done na! and the very last exam we all took? french..haha
sayang! i shoulda been exempted in 2 subjects:
math: the only year i get grades high enough to qualify me for an exemption in math, and there has to be a small detail that ruins it. my 3rd term class standing was 96, but because of my 84 in the 1st term, i was disqualified from exemption, despite the 90 average. oh well...
filipino: llaguno mentioned me as one of those whose exemption he had to take back because of certain "conditions", which he didnt mention. the only thing siguro would be conuct...but that would mean i got like a Bm in conduct? aw man
and this year was the first year wherein i wasnt exempted from the english exam...aw man. but hey. the exams are done. all there is left to do is grad prac, bach. mass and thn grad itself! one week from now....shett
nung friday (march11) i went to town to watch this concert held on the side of outback. featured bands were melody valentine, pitik, milano, mayonnaise...others..when i got there, i was disappointed. the crowd turned out to be extremely small...and quite unappreciative of some of the bands, melody valentine in particular. buti nalang the zobel seniors were there to give MV their well-deserved applause. afterwards some of us went to hechi's house for a small inuman. chibog, inuman, kwentuhan, tawanan. was a lot more fun than that concert. hehe amanda: u want smoothie or puree??! hehehehehe
last night i was at dales birthday party. that was fun; food was great! i loved those mashed potatoes!!! mmmm...had a couple of drinks...again lotsa kwentuhan and tawanan, especially at jacques, who was tripping on gay jokes a lot. happy birthday dole!
hi to: janeca, cristina, camille, dale, medz, dino, jello, nicco, brown, bob, amanda smoothie, hechi, taber, jo, iggy, gaille egh dami niyo tama na yan

SUNDAY
got back from father and son camping trip...this year my dad and i "adopted" nicco, coz his dad couldnt make it...oh and by the way: this year is/was my last [legitimate] year to join, coz im graduating na.
damn ang saya! the sports, the singing, the fellowship, the drinking, the foodtrips...just the feel of sleeping outdoors is pretty cool, what more when you're with your dad..*tear* as usual the competitiveness is really high between the 2 rival troops... pikunan between fathers eh, you'd expect more maturity. i can tell you now, i've seen how some of them behave [through anger] and some can be worse than 9 year olds and shit. some are jerks. pero a lot naman are really nice. this was my 4th consecutive year to be in father and son camping, at which point kilalang kilala na ako ng mga fathers and stuff. dami pinapagawa sa akin; singing, drumming, leading the cheers, acting/narrating...EGH?! pinapasali ako sa halos lahat ng events@! siguro dahil ako pinakamatanda diyan, i dunno..hehe at one point it was just so fuckin hot that i suffered some kind of heat-stroke and my head was exploding with pain, and coz of that i wasnt able to help my troop out in swimming...argh...but i helped get us 1st place in 'volleyminton'! hey i got 6 out of 15 pts! yehh hehehe basta masaya...cant wait for the victory party. and, if ever, to join again next year, kung pede.
wednesday was alright; the whole day i was excused coz i had a performance later that day, at 6pm, together with the grade school and high school band, dun sa cpa. me and the jammers. ayos din, went well. wish my co-singer put more life into his singing though, like we're required to. tae sagum was up front row, watching me sing the whole time, kakailang. oh and during the rap part of mr clay, people claimed that i said the entire word "motherfucker"; alam ko naman na nag-stop ako sa "F..!". so someone, cant remember who, almost convinced & scared me by telling me that sagum was waiting for me outside. good it was just a joke. the following day, however, as i was walking in the corridor, nilapitan ako ni sagum: "hey, congratulations on your performance last night; you did good." then he attempted to smile. *shudder*
thursday was pretty cool; after school watched "the infection" at town...some japanese horror movie, from the makers of "the ring" and "the grudge"...really good, i recommend you all watch it. don't be deceived by the crapass poster--it's a good horror film hehe. cors janeca didnt think so coz she had her eyes closed 90% of the time.
hi to: all the fathers and sons at the camp! narra troop! EVERYONE there! and hi din to janeca! =P

2days of 'highschool' stress--will i ever want to feel this "stress" again?
TUESDAY
just got home...the past 2 schooldays (including today) have been hectic...for me, anyway. by the way, in this blog [for several paragraphs] i'll be typing up what i did in school the past 2 days to emphasize how stressful it really was, and these might be a bit boring, especially for those who are my frikn classmates. so i high-lighted these "what-might-be-boring" paragraphs in gray.
yesterday (monday), we took up the financial sector, wrote a sulatin, had to research on or respective topic (and it's hard for me, coz i have to lookup books containing info on corn/potato chips), hookup some signal lights for a car, do some more research [during lunch], take a french longtest, take a math quiz (in which one part i didnt get), and, at dismissal, i had to rush the rest of my [limited] research work coz i was trying to submit it to ms. calubayan before she left school. hassle!...then i hitched a ride with nicco o.'s parents to the dlsu carpool terminal to fetch the car, but apparently my brother hadn't left it there for me [what else is new]. and he didnt even tell me in advance...he didnt tell me at all. he coulda just texted me anytime during the day, knowing that that's my ride home. cors he wouldnt care coz it's not him that's affected. typical. so i wait for my mom to pick me up...
...i get home, turns out everyone's in a bad mood. i talk to my brother about him never leaving the car there for me [as it should be left for me M-F, according to the schedule my family has]...and, as i'd expect, siya pang galit; he's the one that's arrogant about something that's obviously his fault. why can't he ever admit his mistakes? when you're wrong, admit it; at least swallow your pride for a minute or two and accept the fact that you're only human, and you commit mistakes just as everyone else does.
so today, tuesday, hassle din...i leave the house mga 7:40am (usual time), and the traffic going to school is horrible, especially in alabang hills...i get to school 30mins later. that's my fourth late for the 3rd term. ehh..doesnt matter...i'll be graduating soon..hehe. in school i take lotsa notes on the financial sector, potential and kinetic energy...a difficult long test in accounting followed. come filipino time, we took up chapters 16-20 of el fili (means hataw note taking), quiz4 on those chapters followed...CL took eng time, and we took up notes and got a lecture in preparation for tomorrow's long test. math time i fixed up my take home quiz and then submitted it...lecture...
...at dismissal stress tones down...got the prom pics...not bad...went with janeca and the guys to palawan...40pcs fishballs again! hehe...went to town, killed time with janeca while the guys watched constantine...took janeca back to school to her mom, passed for nicco at town and went home.
as you can see, the past few days i've endured were packed with hectic activities..this makes me tired and sleepy at the end of the day. hehe...but i expect this stress thing to get worse within the coming days/week...as graduation/end of the final term draws near, the teachers are squishing in their lesson plans and agendas so we finish the lessons...projects and shit. dami. i hate the way teachers ALWAYS do this, everytime the term is about to end. STRESSSSSSSSS. but hey...bout 2 more weeks or something...won't have to endure it anymore..at least for a while. for a long while. and it makes me think: will i ever WANT to feel the (unique) stress/activities only high school will be able to offer? i bet i will, when i'm gonna be knee-deep in paper work, taking up my double-degree course in dlsu. but hey, it's a challenge...and an opportunity for growth. bring it.

THURSDAY
oh yan, update na....argh kakatamad menn...
umm...boring day today...normal school day....+lava lampe...(ba't may "e"?!)
umm...whatd i miss out on the blogging...umm...i didnt blog about prom, which was on feb12...that was great fun, my date was janeca, and she looked totally awesome that night, and that's without bias. =P prom night was great, even if 108's perfromance was indeed cancelled [by us] (??). especially after prom..that was great. =P
another one: el fili! shett hassle yun all the sections were on their toes practicing everyday so they could at least be in the top3 to get the points and to get on llaguno's hall of favorites or something...haha watta fagass. during our play (senior g) l.a. (valera) was supposed to die [quickly] by gunshot, but when it was time for that, nagpatawa siya ng konti...and after that scene, llaguno was fuming...he came straight at l.a. (back stage with the rest of us) and scolded his ass off...its just like llaguno: despises being embarassed in front of others, especially his beloved co-workers, all-time favorite students and parents. egh...maybe he had his period.
like to say a happy birthday to 2 good friends of mine (w/in this week): dino and jello! umm...yun lako hirit eh
oh yeah! i bought the new P.O.T. album REMASTERED...shett one of my favorite bands, with my FAVORITE song! the even sang a remake of my favorite song, panaginip!! whoa shit lupett can't stop listening to it...
tomorrow party at doti's...janeca's parents allowed me to pic her up from their house! unbelievable...hehe
hi to: janeca, everyone at the prom, el fili.... eh basta yonn

THURSDAY
its double period physics, and coz of all this paascu shit, almost all the teachers have been making all sortsa modules to impress the paascu committee...the entire schools making sipsip, solid! there are now signs that say "keep off the grass", and signs telling you what species of PLANT it is you're looking at...pff.
so that means all the teachers are uptight as well, with rules and stuff. like there's this one teacher in the mid-level of the main building; we both don't know each other but for some reason she hates me, and therefore she's always trying to find a reason to get angry at me, to find something that i'm doing wrong so she can reprimand me. like i was walking up the stairs one time, with my 'lunch box/shoe bag' in one hand, and my bottle of mineral water that i was drinking from in the other. she says: "excuse me, SIR, but drinks arent allowed in the main building" i say: "but i take this bottle to school and home with me everyday, in my lunch box" she says: "oh..well...ok then.." as i'm walking farther up the stairs she calls out at me asking: "excuse me, SIR, but, how can you be taking that bottle home with you, it has no cover??!" so i reply angrily: "i HAVE my bottle cover, right here in my hand, MISS!!!"
i mean what the fucks up with teachers, as if they have nothing better to do than to ruin someone else's day, when they have no right nor reason to do so! jerks
anyway...today grad pics were finally given out. damn that fuckn make-up made me look gay! (all the guys do) argh...hassle. one of the most impt pics in ur life and that picture company screws it up for batch05.
a pleasant surprise for today, sir ezrel called me to the front and showed me the class attendance thing, and showed that im excused from classes from 10am onwards! and that reminded me that i have kasi a performance for the adult night later, in the cpa. steggg
anyway, nearly time na. sesese
